Azerbaijanis evacuated from the most dangerous areas of Kharkov to the border with Poland, reported to journalists in the Honorary Consulate of Azerbaijan in Kharkov.
Consulate staff continue to locate and register our compatriots in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. Over the past day, more than 300 of our compatriots were registered and instructed.
It is reported that at the same time, 30 of our compatriots were evacuated from the most dangerous areas of Kharkov on the Ukrainian-Polish border.
“Channel of the Communication Consulate with the operational headquarters of the Kharkov Regional Administration, the evacuation process of our compatriots will continue depending on the situation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the State Committee of Azerbaijan on working with the diaspora is constantly following this process. The situation in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine remains Tense. Therefore, we call on our compatriots not to leave the places of their stay. The employees of the Honorary Consulate are promptly investigating the appeals of our compatriots in the Kharkiv region and support constant communication with them, “the report says.
