The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan promised to eliminate iodine deficiency in pharmacies in the country in the near future. For this, as stated at the Center for the Analytical Expertise of the Ministry of Health, a new application of the iodine iodine company is registered.
Active buying of iodine in pharmacies is observed in all European countries and is associated with the risks of a nuclear explosion at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, which would be equal to the Chernobyl disasters, as well as the dangers of Russia’s use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine. To a certain extent, the famous Ukrainian pediatrician Yevgeny Komarovsky, who said in an interview, said that with the threat of a nuclear explosion as a prevention of radiation, iodine preparations should be taken.
.
The last time the residents of Baku were the last time in 1986, after the Chernobyl disaster, when people, due to rumors, stopped buying and began to throw away potatoes purchased on the market, which was allegedly brought to the republic from Chernobyl. Then, in Tbilisi, due to rumors that salt from Chernobyl was brought to the Soviet cities, a strange picture opened: at once, as a command from the windows of houses, people poured all the salt that was in their apartments. Throughout the city, the territory in front of the buildings became white, as if snow had just fallen.
Now the public of European countries has lost peace: how to protect yourself if Putin clicks on the “red button” or explodes the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. In many European countries, the same story as with iodine deficiency in Azerbaijan. For example, iodine preparations ended in Finland pharmacies after publishing new recommendations of the Finnish Ministry of Health on the use of this medication in the event of a radiation threat. In Germany, people buy iodine tablets in pharmacies, creating a deficit. According to German ndr.de, demand is associated with the fear of nuclear war or accident at nuclear power plants. The federal government warned that the purchase of iodine pharmacy tablets is an unsuccessful solution. In ordinary drugs, there is less iodine than in special tablets of potassium iodide, designed to prevent the accumulation of radioactive iodine in the body. The authorities warned the population of Germany against self -medication.
The independent reception of pills at the moment will not bring any benefit. In addition, from other radioactive substances, strontium or cesium, tablets do not protect. At the same time, there are high risks of side effects from taking tablets. In particular, an excess of iodine can lead to cardiovascular insufficiency and other problems.
