as part of the 20th meeting of the intergovernmental State Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia, an “Agreement between the Azerbaijan Republic and the Russian Federation on cooperation in the field of pension provision” was signed, Haqqin.az said in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
The document was signed by the deputy prime ministers of both countries, co-chairs of the commission Shakhin Mustafaev and Alexei Overchuk.
The agreement regulates relations between the two countries in the field of pension provision. The document determines the mechanisms of recognition and protection of the pension and other rights of citizens of Azerbaijan and Russia to social insurance acquired in the territory of these states.
