Speaking as a recognized partner of the National Olympic and National Paralympic Communist Party Azerbaijan on the Summer Olympics 2020 in Tokyo Azercell gathered medals of this important competition, which brought our country a great success.
To the meeting, which was attended by the President of Azercell Zarina Zeynalova, Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan, Chingiz Huseynzade, President of the National Paralympic Committee Ilgar Ragimov, as well as Deputy General Secretary of the National Olympic Committee Azer Aliyev, the winners of the Olympic and Paralympic Winners were invited games 2020 in Tokyo.

The event was also made by Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan, Chingiz Huseynzade and the President of the National Paralympic Committee of Azerbaijan Ilgar Ragimov, who thanked Azercell for the support of the Olympic and Paralympic movements in our country. Chingiz Huseynzade noted that a huge merit in disseminating information on the participation of the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees at Tokyo 2020 competitions, both within the country and at the international level belongs to Azercell.
All winners were handed certificates and valuable gifts from Azercell Telekom.
The National Olympic team of Azerbaijan won 3 silver and 4 bronze medals at the Tokyo-2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the National Paralympic team – 14 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals. In total, Azerbaijani athletes returned to their homeland with 14 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze medals.
Azercell was partner of the Azerbaijani National Olympic team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. In addition, Azercell is a sponsor of the Children’s Paralympic Committee since 2014. Athletes who trained in this committee in different years became owners of various medals at international tournaments.
