The leading mobile operator of Azerbaijan is once again awarded the international certificate of ISO/IEC 27001.
Azercell Telecom, along with the implementation of a new business strategy to improve the quality of life of its subscribers by the implementation of the latest technologies, improving the safety of their data and supporting the country’s integration into the international telecommunication market, is also working on improving internal processes. So, according to the results of the audit conducted by the Norwegian company DNV, the information security management system of the country’s leading operator of the country has again received the ISO/IEC 27001.

ISO/IEC 27001 Certificate proves a high level of confidentiality protection, integrity and availability of Azercell Telecom subscribers in accordance with the requirements of international standards.
Note that Azercell Telesom is the first and only mobile operator in Azerbaijan to receive this certificate. The company’s compliance with the ISO/IEC 27001 certificate was first confirmed in 2019.
ISO/IEC 27001 standard was developed by the International Standardization Organization (ISO) and the International Electrical Engineering Commission (IEC). A certificate of compliance with the standard is issued only to those companies that fully comply with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard, optimally manage information security risks, conduct regular audit checks and ensure information security in accordance with the requirements established by the law.
