“Perhaps, an explosion in a residential building in Khirdalan occurred due to gas leakage.” This was stated by the general director for “Azerigaz” Ruslan Aliyev.
According to R. Aliyev, according to preliminary information, two of the victims of the explosion in the house in Khirdalan were masters who repaired the apartment. Accurate information will be after the investigation completed, the general director noted.
He added that the supply of gas to the building was completely stopped.
“The corresponding structures will begin a joint investigation of the explosion. The process will also be involved in Azerigaz. After this public, detailed information will be provided,” the general director emphasized.
R. Aliyev added that the owner of the apartment was not at home during the explosion, the masters were in the apartment. According to eyewitnesses, gas explosion is possible due to gas leakage.
The CEO of the software noted that the Azerigaz did not receive information about the repair in the apartment to suspend the gas supply.
