Fast in France in only four days, from June 2 to 5, caused damage by almost € 1 billion, reports the newspaper Ouest-France.
The first grades published by a professional insurance association indicate that “from June 2 to 5, damage caused by bad weather amounted to € 940 million,” the publication notes. According to the newspaper, the amount of damage to the French houses from hurricane winds, heavy rains, hail and floods is estimated at € 410 million, the fleet of € 370 million, enterprises, including agricultural – € 90 million
Given the bad weather, which fell on France in late spring, from May 20 to 23, the total damage is estimated at € 1.2 billion, but it does not take into account the consequences of natural disasters, including the floods of June 12, which affected 65 departments countries.
