The trial of the 38-year-old resident Baku Echtibar Badalov, accused of trading in drugs and psychotropic substances, ended.
According to Haqqin.az, Badalov established a connection with the unidentified citizen of Iran and acquired drugs from him. From Iranz, he received 2044.734 grams of heroin and 11.143 grams of methamphetamine under the following payment conditions – 22 manat per gram of heroin and 45 manat per gram of methamphetamine.
Badalov was detained during the operational-search measures carried out by the Surakhan district police department. With him, 9 bundles of heroin and 1 bundle of methamphetamine were found. An apartment in which Badalov lived was also examined. There were found and seized in 2005 grams of heroin, 8662 grams of methamphetamine, electronic scales, syringes.
The accused Echtibar Badalov partially pleaded guilty for the charges against him and admitted that he had used drugs. In his statement, he said that for about 5 years he used injection heroin and that all the drugs found in the apartment belonged to him: “But I was not going to sell drugs. I used to buy them from a person named Abuzar.”
In his testimony, Badalov said that he bought drugs from Iranian for personal use. Before his arrest, he ordered drugs on the Internet. Iranian sent him a message that the “product” ordered by him is ready and is in a white cellophane bag in an old bus in the village of Khordala. Having found the indicated place, Badalov brought drugs to his home.
by a decision of the court, Echtibar Badalov, was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
