On Monday, April 14, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jehun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and on the Syrians’ affairs abroad to the transition government of Syria asaad Hassan Ash-Shibani.
This is stated in the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
According to the statement, Azerbaijani-Syrian relations and the situation in the field of regional security were discussed.
The ministers noted the broad prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Syria after the fall of the Bashar Assad regime.
During the conversation, gratitude was expressed for the support provided by the restoration of the work of the Azerbaijan Embassy in Syria after a long break.
Regarding the efforts to strengthen stability in Syria, the importance of Baku’s intention to participate in the process of restoring Syria, as well as the provision of humanitarian aid, was emphasized. In this context, the importance of developing the format of cooperation of Azerbaijan-Sturius-Syria was noted.
The ministers also exchange opinions of underwear and multilateral issues representing mutual interest.
