On Friday, November 1, on the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the 10th meeting of the state commissions of the two countries on Delimitation issues took place. This is stated in the report of the State Commission on Delimitation of Azerbaijan.
The negotiations were chaired by the deputy prime minister of Azerbaijan Shakhina Mustafaev and the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mger Grigoryan.
During the meeting, in accordance with Article 7 of the Regulation on the joint activities of the above commissions, which was signed on August 30, 2024, the parties exchanged notifications on the implementation of domestic procedures necessary for its entry into force.
Given that Article 7 of the Regulation provides for its entry into force on the day of receipt of the last written notice of the implementation of such procedures, the parties stated that this provision enters into force on November 1, 2024.
A exchange of views on the order of sections/segments of the border line for further delimitation work was carried out.
Discussions of relevant instructions on the procedure for carrying out delimitation work were discussed.
