Azerbaijan began practical activities for the reintegration of Armenian residents living in the Karabakh region of the Republic.
This is stated in the statement of the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan.
The message notes that in connection with this, Ramin Mammadov, who was appointed responsible for contacts with the Armenian residents of Karabakh, on September 21, 25 and 29, 2023, met in the cities of Evlah and Khojaly with representatives of Armenian residents.
The administration emphasized that reintegration is carried out within the framework of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan on the basis of the Constitution, laws and international obligations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
“Regardless of ethnic, religious or linguistic affiliation, the equality of the rights and freedoms of everyone, including the security of everyone, is guaranteed,” the statement said.
