Based on the prosecutor’s complaint in the Baku appeal, an appeal protest was considered for the sentence to the former police officer Tural Makhmudov, accused of drug trafficking.

by the decision of the court, Tural Makhmudov was found guilty under article 234.4.3 (illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, shipping or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances committed on a large amount) of the Criminal Code and sentenced to 4 years 6 months of imprisonment. Former police officer was arrested in the courtroom.
Recall that Tural Makhmudov was arrested by the Main Directorate for the Combating of the Drugs of the Ministry of the Interior. He was charged with the investigative body under article 234.4.3 of the Criminal Code (illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, shipping or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances committed on a large amount).
Tural Makhmudov, who was in custody during the preliminary and judicial investigation, was released in May at the trial chaired by Judge Afghan Gadzhiev in the Baku court for serious crimes, having received a punishment in the form of restriction of freedom (electronic bracelet).
