Azerbaijan requires France to stop actions that do not serve the world and undermine stability in the region.
This was stated by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Aihan Hajizade, answering the media question about the claims voiced to Azerbaijan at the conference of ambassadors.
He noted that the next unreasonable claims of France President Emmanuel Macron to Azerbaijan and the provocative statements distorting real facts are unacceptable.
“France, which positions itself as a champion of international law, has never criticized a gross violation of the norms and principles of international law against Azerbaijan, an ethnic purge policy, mass killings and crimes against humanity against our country,” Gadzizade said. < /p>
He noted that Baku again reminds the French side that a fair war held by Azerbaijan in its sovereign territories in accordance with the norms and principles of international law was aimed only to put the end of the occupation from Armenia.
“We decisively condemn such provocative statements by France, which casts doubt on the sovereignty of Azerbaijan over its territories, prepares Armenia for revenge, carries out large -scale weapons of this country, while real conditions for the world arose in the region,” Gajizade said. < /p>
According to him, the attribution of the reasons for the failed activities of France in its overseas territories as manifestations of an insidious neocolonial policy speaks of the erroneousness of the course of official Paris.
Hajizade emphasized that instead of accusing other countries, France would be more useful to learn from its incompetent foreign policy.
“We demand that France put an end to steps that do not serve the world and undermine stability in the region,” said the official representative of the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry.
