In Baku, they discussed cooperation in the framework of the Azerbaijani-Katar Joint Business Council.
The Chairman of the Board of the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Business (Kobia) Azerbaijan Orhan Mammadov met with the President of the Qatari Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Khalifa Bin Al Tanya, who is on a visit to the 35th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Commerce and Industry and agricultural chamber (iccia).
According to Kobia, during the meeting, an exchange of opinions on cooperation was held in the framework of the Azerbaijani-Katar Joint Business Council and this year the first meeting of the Council with the participation of entrepreneurs of both countries.
Note that in 2022, an agreement was signed between the Kobia and the Qatari Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the creation of the Azerbaijani-Katar Joint Business Council.
The business council supports the initiative of entrepreneurs, the establishment of direct relations between business, including SMEs, the organization of events, the conduct of mutual exchange of information in order to further develop trade and economic ties between Azerbaijan and Qatar.
