Baku Discussed Issues Of Military Cooperation Between Air Force Of Azerbaijan And Turkey

The 15th staff negotiations were held between the Air Force of Azerbaijan and Turkey. On Saturday, on March 1, the press service of the Azerbaijan defense department reports.

In accordance with the “Bilateral Military Cooperation Program” signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey, 15th staff negotiations with the participation of representatives of the Air Force (Air Force) of the two fraternal countries took place.

First, the Alley of the Schehids and the memorial to the Turkish soldiers were visited, the bright memory of the Shahids was honored.

Deputy Minister of Defense-Air Force Commander-Lieutenant Namik Islamzade, met with a delegation headed by the chief of the financial and technical support department of the Turkish Air Force, Lieutenant General Huseyn Duman.

At a meeting, during which the significance of the conducted staff negotiations was emphasized, the issues of military cooperation between the Air Force of Azerbaijan and Turkey were discussed, the importance of the exchange of experience was noted, a thorough exchange of views of mutual interest took place.

Then, in accordance with the plan of the visit, the Turkish delegation visited the aircraft repair plant. Here the guests presented information about the history of the creation, stages of development and activities of the enterprise. Having familiarized themselves with the conditions created in the production facilities of the plant, the guests personally watched the processes of repair, modernization and other processes.

Then a meeting was held at the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute. Deputy Rector for the Scientific Part of the National University of Defense-rector of the Military Research Institute, Major General Arif Hasanov, at a meeting with guests, expressed satisfaction to see them in Azerbaijan.

The guests got acquainted with the conditions created at the Military Institute. The Turkish delegation was informed in detail about the educational institution, the work done and plans for bilateral cooperation in the field of military education were discussed.

Lieutenant General G. Tuman left a commemorative entry in the “Book of Honorary Guests” of the Military Institute.

According to the plan, in conclusion, the Turkish delegation visited the N-cilvitical part of the Air Force. Representatives of Turkey presented detailed information about the main areas of activity of the military unit.
