The illegal Armenian armed groups in Azerbaijan attempted to establish long -term fortifications before the positions of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan in the direction of the Kyalbadzharsky district.
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
The incident took place on August 27 at about 12:30 local time in the territory where the Russian peacekeeping contingent was temporarily placed.
“As a result of the urgent measures taken by the units of the Azerbaijani army, the work was immediately stopped,” the department said.
