EU and the US plans to hold a tripartite conference with the participation of Armenia are clearly one -sided and biased and based on double standards. This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, published on the website of the department.
“The specified conference is not completely transparent, it lacks regional inclusiveness and contradicts such a necessary strengthening of confidence and integration promoted in the region. This conference, instead of encouraging the Armenian side, is in good faith negotiations, creates new dividing lines and narrows spheres influences in the region, ”the statement says.
It notes that against the backdrop of revenge sentences in Yerevan, such an open probe public manifestation of Washington and Brussels can create a dangerous illusion in this country that the EU and the United States will support Armenia in its possible provocations against Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry emphasized that in this case the EU and the United States will share responsibility for any possible destabilizing actions from Armenia.
