Baku: meeting in Yevlah was held in constructive setting

The Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan published an application for a meeting with representatives of residents of the Armenian origin of the Karabakh region of the Republic.

The message notes that at the invitation of the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan on September 21 in the Azerbaijani city, Yevla Mammadov, who was appointed responsible for contacts with Armenian residents of Karabakh, met with representatives of the Armenian residents of Karabakh Sergey Martirosyan and David Melkumyan.

The meeting was attended by the head of the joint Russian-Turkish monitoring center Rear Admiral Oleg Semenov.

The administration noted that at a meeting held in a constructive and positive environment, the issues of reintegration, restoration of infrastructure and organization of activities of the Armenian population of Karabakh were discussed on the basis of the Constitution and the laws of Azerbaijan.

The importance of the speedy implementation of the issues reflected in the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan of September 20 on the termination of anti -terrorism measures was also emphasized.

Representatives of the Armenian residents of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan noted a special need for fuel in the context of discussing issues of a social and humanitarian nature. At the same time, they asked to provide humanitarian assistance, including food. Their request was met positively.

In particular, it is planned to provide fuel and carry out humanitarian support in the near future, providing the heating systems of kindergartens and schools, as well as the needs of ambulance services and fire extinguishing.
