Baku responded to provocative resolution of France

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan commented on the provocative anti -azerbaijani resolution adopted on the eve of the National Assembly of France with a demand to “stop Azerbaijani aggression against Armenia.”

The commentary notes that the resolution adopted by the lower house of the parliament (National Assembly) of France, full of lies and slander against Azerbaijan, is the next provocation of this country against Azerbaijan, as well as the resolution adopted some time ago in the Senate.

“The resolution is aimed at damaging the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as efforts to establish peace and stability in the region. This resolution contrary to the norms and principles of international law once again shows the prejudice political position of France, which thereby thereby cannot be a neutral and fair intermediary, ”the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.

Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry notes that at the hearing a representative of the French government actually supported the resolution, which once again indicates that this resolution is behind the government of this country, which has recently openly performs on various platforms with anti -azerbaijani initiatives.

“France, under the pretext of it performed by the almost 25-year period of the intermediary role, did not evaluate the aggression and occupation policy of Armenia, thereby not striving to resolve the conflict. The indicator of the bias of France is that after Azerbaijan independently resolved the conflict , a slanderous campaign was openly conducted against our country, accusations are made. We strongly reject this resolution, like other provocative steps taken by France, including the resolution adopted earlier than the Senate of this country, ”the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs says.
