The II Baku Security Forum was held, organized by the State Security Service (SGB) of Azerbaijan. This is stated in the message of the press service of the SSB Ar.
The event on the topic “Modern challenges aimed at the safety of global transport networks” was attended by representatives of special services of about 50 countries of the world.
The head of the SSR of Azerbaijan Ali Nagiyev, who spoke at the event, said that the Baku Security Forum is of great importance from the point of view of expanding information exchange and other areas of interaction between partnerships.
Nagiyev noted the importance of ensuring the activities of special services bodies with a coordinated way in the fight against international terrorism and situations considered a threat to the security system as a whole.
According to him, the event is an important platform for discussing issues of common interest for the safety structures of countries.
The forum continued his work with speeches by the heads of delegations of foreign special services.
At the end of the event, unanimous support of the participants in the creation of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev Secretariat of the Baku Security Forum, which will act on an ongoing basis, was stated in Baku.
