In the Baku Court of Crime, a trial began the trial of Bakhtiyar Mammadov, accused of killing his wife and trying to kill her brother and his mother -in -law.
According to Haqqin.az, the incident occurred on February 25 of this year on S.A. Shirvani Street of the Khatainsky district. Bakhtiyar Mammadov wounded his wife Ulker Mammadov, his father -in -law Heydar Gadzhiev and mother -in -law Farid Gadzhiev during the conflict between them in his apartment. Ulker Mammadova died from the wounds on the spot.
During the investigation, it was found that Bakhtiyar Mammadov did not work anywhere, led a rampant lifestyle and did not devote time to his family. Because of this, many disputes arose, and discontent inside the family grew.
The next conflict between husband and wife occurred on February 25. Bakhtiyar Mammadov beat his wife. Mother and brother Ulker, learning about this, came to their house. Bakhtiyar Mammadov killed his wife and wounded her relatives in front of their young children, after which he disappeared from the scene.
The accused pleaded guilty of the charges against him. In his testimony, he said that he was not going to kill his wife.
The victim Heydar Gadzhiev stated in his testimony that on the day of the murder, his niece called him and said that Ulker had quarreled with her husband and he threatens her with murder. First, the man decided to contact the police. However, there he was advised to come tomorrow, because on that day the anniversary of the Hodzhalin tragedy was celebrated. Then Gadzhiev and his mother came home to his sister. He advised Bakhtiyar to leave for a while. He initially agreed, but then attacked them with a knife.
The victim said that he found out that his sister died three days after the incident: “I saw Bakhtiyar hit my mother with a knife in the chest, but I did not see how he killed his sister.”
Gadzhiev also said that a police officer who did not consider their complaint on this day was interrogated in the Khatain district prosecutor’s office. The family turned to the Ministry of Internal Affairs with a request to punish him.
The mother of the deceased Farid Gadzhieva, in her statement in court, said that she worked in the education system for 52 years. Her late daughter Ulker also worked as a teacher.
“We are not talking much here. This man has not been working anywhere for 7 years. He threatened to decapitate Ulker and their daughters. My daughter underwent two operations in front of his eyes, but continued to work and take care of the children. And Bakhtiyar stole the gold of my daughter and I handed over to a pawnshop. I took a phone from my own son. I made my daughter steal from home. Ulker did not say a word to me, I was afraid to scare, since I was sick with diabetes. That day Bakhtiyar brought gasoline home, wanted to set fire to everything. “

The father of the deceased Elnar Gadzhiev asked the court to impose the most strict punishment to the accused.
