Baku was called to put an end to Armenia’s impunity for war crimes

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry called to put an end to Armenia’s impunity for war crimes committed against civilians during the Karabakh war.

The Press Service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Aihan Gadjizade announced a statement on the social network “X” in connection with the 31st anniversary of the massacre in the village of Ballygai in the north-west of Azerbaijan.

“There should be an end to the impunity of Armenia for committed war crimes. We will always remember and will never forget the victims of the massacre (in Baglygaya)!”, The publication says.

On August 28, 1992, the Armed Forces of Armenia committed a massive murder of peaceful Azerbaijanis in the village of Ballyga, the Granboy district of Azerbaijan.
