Today’s foggy weather in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula is associated with the cooling of the earth’s surface at night and lowering the air temperature, the director of the forecasts of the National Hydrometeorological Service Gulshad Mamedov said.
“The fog that formed over the Caspian Sea brought a south-west wind to the Absheron Peninsula. This weather will remain today, as well as in the morning and night on March 19,” said Mamedov.
