Baku: World Cup On Batut And Acrobatic Path Has Started In Baku

In the capital of Azerbaijan, the city of Baku on Saturday, February 22, the World Cup on Batut and Acrobatic Path (Tambling) started.

According to Azerbaijani State Media, the tournament is held in the National Gymnastic Arena, athletes from 15 countries compete in individual and synchronous performances.

First, competitions of an individual qualification stage are held for trampoline jumping among men and women.

In this discipline, Azerbaijan is: among women – the silver medalist of the World Cup, the holder of the FIG Cup of Seljan Makhsudova and the gold medalist of the 6th Baku championship on the trampoline Shafig Gumbatov, and among men – winners of international tournaments, including worldwide competitions in age -related groups, Nijat Mirzoev (individual and Synchronous performances) and Mehdi Aliyev (individual performances), as well as European champion Ali Nifaliev.

For the first time, mixed synchronous pairs on trampoline jumps will perform at the tournament. On Saturday, February 22, there will also be qualification competitions on jumping on the acrobatic path (Tambling) among men and women.

In this form, the world champions Tofig Aliyev and Adil Gadjizade, winner of the European Championship in the team category Huseyn Asadullaev and the gold medalist of international tournaments Alexei Karatashov will fight in this form. The World Cup will end on February 23.
