At the negotiations on the ceasefire in the gas sector, “significant progress” has been achieved. US President Joe Biden said this, commenting on the results of negotiations in Doha.
The head of the White House noted that the United States announced proposals to eliminate disagreements between the parties during negotiations in Doha and hopes that this will serve as the basis for reaching an agreement on the ceasefire.
The US President noted that he held separate negotiations with Emir Catar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Tani and the Egyptian colleague Abdelfattahu As-Sisi, with whom he discussed the details of two-day consultations in Doha.
The delegations will gather in Cairo next week again, Biden said, adding that he also sent Anthony Blinken Secretary of State to the region.
The United States will continue to do everything possible to cease to be in gas, the president said. “No one in the region should take actions that may harm the negotiation process to stop the fire in exclus,” the politician added.
