Buyers of American F-35 fighters cannot use them on their own, without Washington’s permission, said the head of the Baykar Turkish company Seljuk Bayractar.
“Look at the countries that buy the F -35, and look at what problems they are faced with. They say that they cannot use them on their own without solving the United States. High technologies are accompanied by shackles,” he said.
According to Bayractar, the country’s sovereignty is possible only when it develops its own technologies. He emphasized that even the most advanced solution that is acquired from the outside is much worse than the most mediocre technology created on its own.
