Today, the heads of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan and Turkey – Jayhun Bayramov and Mevlyuta Chavushoglu took place a telephone conversation.
According to the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, the interlocutors exchanged views on the current situation with forest fires in Turkey and about the measures for their extinguishing.
Chavushoglu Thanked Azerbaijan for sending a new group of fire and technical assistance to Turkey on behalf of the head of state. By informing the extinguishing of fires, the Turkish Foreign Minister said that fires in Antalya were localized and work to restore damaged infrastructure. At the same time, he said that in a number of other places work on fire extinguishes.
In turn, Bayramov stressed that Azerbaijan is ready to provide Turkey any needed support.
Recall, the last telephone conversation between Jayhun Bayramov and Mevlyut Chavushoglu took place on August 5, the ministers exchanged views on the situation with forest fires in Turkey.
