On Thursday, December 2, in the framework of the meeting of the head of the OSCE participating ministers in Stockholm, a meeting of foreign organizations for democracy and economic development was held – Guam.
Meeting of the heads of foreign policy agencies of the GUAM member countries held a second time this year under the chairmanship of Georgia. It was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jacihun Bayramov, Russian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Nika Posseku, Head of the Foreign Ministry of Georgia David Zalkaliani, as well as Secretary General Guam Altai Efendiyev.
The report says that at the end of the meeting, important issues were considered, and the successes achieved over the past year, despite the coronavirus pandemic.
Parties discussed the main issues of cooperation on the agenda, including the prospects for the development of cooperation within the framework of political, inter-parliamentary, as well as other GUAM formats +.
During the conversation, security problems in the region were also affected.
At the end of the meeting, a protocol was signed on the transfer of the chairmanship in the organization from Georgia to Moldova.
