Baku is ready to provide comprehensive assistance to the Armenian population of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan in case of such a need, the Foreign Minister Jayhun Bayramov told reporters.
“Karabakh Armenians have no problems with food or medicines. But the Azerbaijani side is ready to provide any assistance on humanitarian issues, if it is required,” Bayramov said.
The Foreign Minister also said that all issues in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan should be resolved as part of Azerbaijani legislation and respect the territorial integrity of the country.
“Behind the latest provocations are the forces that are not interested in the negotiation process. Serious warnings should be made to prevent provocations. All issues should be resolved within the framework of Azerbaijani legislation, with respect to the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Persons who came from the outside and They are now there (in Karabakh – Ed.), They do not have the right to contact citizens. The local Armenian population has the full right to stay, live within the framework of Azerbaijani legislation, ”Bayramov told reporters on Thursday.
