Azerbaijan highly appreciates the role of Russia in normalizing the relations of Azerbaijan and Armenia, said the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jahun Bayramov at a press conference following a meeting with Russian colleague Sergei Lavrov.
Bayramov noted that the most important factor in the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan is the full execution of tripartite statements, which, however, interferes with a number of circumstances: Armenian armed groups are not completely withdrawn from the territories of Azerbaijan, a mine danger is still maintained.
Bayramov noted that in Azerbaijan, 2700 minutes produced by Armenia in 2021 were discovered, which indicates that the Lacchinsk corridor was used for other purposes.
