At Vilnius Airport on the eve of the beginning of the Summit of NATO leaders, Patriot complexes are placed.
The summit in the capital of Lithuania will be held on July 11-12. The venue for the summit is only 300 km from the Russian border.
The Summit will be attended by the heads of state and governments of 31 NATO members, representatives of the Candidate country to join the Alliance -Sweden, as well as the delegations of Japan, South Korea and New Zealand.
The participation of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is also expected.
In the Lithuanian capital, enhanced security measures were taken before the summit. Within the framework of these measures at Vilnius Airport, Patriot air defense systems are installed.
To ensure safety during the NATO summit, more than 3 thousand military Lithuania were involved.
