The defense departments of Belarus and Iran signed a memorandum of military cooperation and determined a plan of such interaction for the current year.
This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
During the official visit of the Minister of Defense of Belarus Viktor Krenin, a meeting was held with the Minister of Defense and Support for the Armed Forces of Iran Mohammad Rez Ashtiani.
“According to the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Defense and the support of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran on military cooperation, as well as a plan for bilateral military cooperation for the current year,” the report said.
It is noted that during the meeting the parties exchanged views on topical issues of the international agenda, and also discussed issues of the state and prospects for the development of interaction in the military sphere.
