Belarus and Nicaragua will create a joint commission on trade and economic cooperation.
This follows from the agreement of the Belarusian government published on the National Legal Internet portal, the Belarusian State Media reports.
The document prescribes the main functions of the joint commission, which are as follows: coordination of cooperation between the parties in the field of trade and economic relations; ensuring control over the implementation of international agreements in the field of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Nicaragua, as well as other bilateral agreements and decisions adopted during meetings of the joint commission; development of ways to further strengthen trade and economic relations; promoting the exchange of information regarding mutual trade and economic cooperation; Analysis of the process of implementing the basic goals and principles of partnership.
The agreement also notes that the meetings will be held once a year in turn in Minsk and Managua.
The agreement comes into force from the date of receipt of the last written notice on the diplomatic channels, which one party notifies the other about the implementation of all domestic procedures necessary for its entry into force. The agreement is concluded for a period of five years and is extended to the next five -year periods.
