President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko did not exclude the possibility of the appearance of a new reserve currency in the world.
“A very influential Middle East, their role is great now. And one of the issues in this vein was discussed with the President of the Emirates. Today there will be a trend that a new reserve currency will appear. Or maybe several,” Lukashenko said on Meeting with reporters in Minsk, BelTA reports.
At the same time, he noted that in America everything is solved by money, “if not everything, then a lot for sure.” Regarding the Middle East, the president said that “more and more Arabs begin to influence politics in the world.”
Lukashenko in early February was on a visit to Abu Dhabi, where he met with the President of the UAE Sheikh Muhammed Ben Zaid al-Nahayan, which lasted about 4 hours.
