Belarus extended the ban on the export of grain crops outside the country, including wheat, rye, barley, buckwheat. The corresponding resolution of the Council of Ministers was signed by the country’s Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko.
“to establish a temporary ban on exporting outside the Republic of Belarus to states – members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) of goods according to the list according to the application, regardless of the country of origin,” the document says.
In addition, grain is prohibited outside the customs territory of the EAEU to the republic to countries that are not member states of the EAEU, as well as goods when they are placed under customs procedures of export, temporary export, processing outside the customs territory and re -export.
The list of prohibited for the export of goods includes oats, corn, millet, triticale. The ban on the removal of grain will be valid for six months. The previous time, Belarus introduced a temporary ban on grain removal in March of this year.
