President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed the Law “On the Aviation of the Republic of Belarus to international treaties within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization”, the document was published on the national legal portal of the republic.
The law provides for the accession of Belarus, “within the framework of the process of receiving the state of Belarus by the status of the state – a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization,” to 22 agreements, conventions and contracts. Among them is an agreement between the governments of the SCO member states on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs affairs, an agreement on long -term goodness, friendship and cooperation of the SCO member states, an agreement on cooperation and interaction of the SCO member states on border issues, a number of agreements on the fight against the fight against terrorism, etc.
The Council of Ministers is prescribed to take measures necessary to formalize the participation of Minsk in international treaties and other measures to implement them, Interfax notes.
Earlier, the law was approved by the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus.
