Belarus and Sri Lanka will find ways to intensify political dialogue and cooperation.
This is President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, stated on the occasion of the National Festival of Sri Lanka-Independence Day, the press service of the head of state reports.
The corresponding message Lukashenko addressed to President Sri Lanka Ranilu Vikramasinghe.
“Despite the challenges of the last time, Sri Lanka is gradually restored after the economic crisis and realizes plans for the social and sustainable development of the country,” the congratulation says.
The Head of State noted that warm and constructive relations have developed between Belarus and Sri Lanka, trade is growing, business ties are expanding, the number of Lankan students who receive education in Belarusian higher educational institutions are increasing.
“I am convinced that this year we will find ways to intensify political dialogue, interaction in industries such as agriculture, mechanical engineering, science and technology, pharmaceuticals, as well as in the supply of food products,” the president emphasized.
Lukashenko wished Ranil Vikramasinghe and his loved ones good health, happiness and success, and the residents of Sri Lanka – peace and prosperity.
