Belarusian Ambassador Anatoly Lisa called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with the visit of the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to Abkhazia, the press service of the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
“The Ambassador of Belarus Anatoly Fox was called to the Foreign Ministry of Georgia. A meeting with the ambassador concerned the visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to Abkhazia,” the report said.
It also notes that the Georgian side “expressed extreme concern about this and demanded additional explanations from Belarus.”
Earlier on Wednesday, Lukashenko arrived in Pitsunda, where he met with the so -called “president of Abkhazia” Aslan Bzhanya.
