President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko went on a state visit to Mongolia, which will last until June fourth.
According to the press service of the head of state, the president’s arrival in Ulan Bator is expected in the evening, on Saturday, the first of June.
The representative of the Mongolia has already arrived in the capital of Mongolian delegation consisting of government members, heads of enterprises, organizations and business circles who have begun negotiations with their Mongolsky substitutions.
Official negotiations with the President of Mongolia Ukhnaiin Huralsukh will be held in Ulan-Bator in narrow and expanded compositions.
The leaders of the countries will discuss promising areas of cooperation for the most complete disclosure of the potential of Belarusian-Mongol relations.
First of all, we will talk about the possibilities of expanding interaction in the trade and economic sphere, deliveries to the Mongol market of demanded food and industrial products of domestic enterprises, joint work through the agricultural sector.
It is expected that according to the results of negotiations, the parties will sign a number of bilateral documents that will strengthen the foundation of bilateral cooperation.
Alexander Lukashenko will also get acquainted with history, original traditions and customs of the people of Mongolia.
In parallel with the measures of the state visit to Ulan Bator, the Mongol-Belarusian Business Forum will be held, during which representatives of business circles on both sides will be able to familiarize themselves with the capabilities of each other, discuss practical issues in specific areas.
According to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, on the eve of Ulan Bator, a meeting of the heads of foreign policy departments of the two countries has already been held. Sergey Aleinik and Batmunhiin Batzeces discussed the state and prospects of political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation and humanitarian interaction between Belarus and Mongolia.
The ministers “checked the clock” on the preparation of a visit at the highest level, discussed the bilateral documents planned for signing, the schedule of meetings of the delegation members with the Mongolian colleagues and the conduct of business events within the framework of the visit. Aleinik and Batzest agreed to coordinate joint work for the qualitative implementation of the agreements that will be reached during the upcoming state visit to Mongolia.
