Foreign Minister of FRG Khaiko Maas laid responsibility for the escalation of the crisis in the Middle East to the Palestinian Radical Movement of Hamas. This reports Deutsche Vell.
“Hamas deliberately and consciously provoked the current escalation, without any analysis, having issued more than a thousand missiles in Israeli cities, fully aware of which consequences will lead,” Maas said in an interview with Funke Group publications.
“The one who acts so disgusting is responsible for the terrifying humanitarian consequences, from which hundreds of thousands of people are now forced to suffer,” the politician pointed out, stressing that “Israel is defended because it is forced to do it.”
Mas also expressed the hope that other states would not be drawn into the expanded conflict. He stressed that the conflict in the Middle East can be resolved only by a political way.
