US President Joe Biden on Sunday held a telephone conversation with French leader Emmanuel Macron, a representative of the White House told reporters.
“The conversation on the protected connection of President Byyden with President of France Macron ended at 16:02 in the time of the east coast of the United States,” he said.
The conversation lasted 15 minutes, clarified the press pool of the White House. “They discussed the current diplomatic cooperation and measures to deter in response to the increase in Russian forces at the borders of Ukraine,” the statement of the press service says, which quotes TASS.
France-Presse reported earlier on Sunday, which Macron intends to talk to Biden and Chancellor by Germany Olaf Scholts. Previously, on the same day, President Vladimir Putin spoke with Macron.
