US President Joe Biden said that at a meeting on Monday in Kyiv a meeting with the Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky assured him in the strength of Kyiv’s support by Washington.
“I told the President Zelensky when we talked yesterday in Kiev that I can proudly declare our remaining unshakable support of Ukraine,” the head of the White House said at a meeting with his Polish colleague Andgea Duda in Warsaw.
Earlier, Biden, during an outsiddened visit to Kiev, informed about the new US military assistance package by the Ukrainian side in the amount of about $ 500 million. This was the first trip of the American president to Ukraine during the war. The visit was prepared in conditions of strict secrecy.
