The current US President Joe Biden and the elected head of state Donald Trump will meet in the White House on Wednesday, November 13. This was reported by the press secretary of the White House Karin Jean-Pierre.
According to her, at the invitation of President Joe Bayden, the elected President Donald Trump will arrive at the Oval Office on November 13 at 11:00 local time.
Jean-Pierre noted that additional details of the meetings will be published in the coming days.
Such meetings between the departing president and the elected head of state traditionally take place in the United States, symbolizing the peaceful transfer of power, which is considered a key element of American democracy.
Nevertheless, Trump did not hold a similar meeting with Bayden after losing in the elections in 2020.
