US President Joe Biden expressed hope for achieving a ceasefire in the gas sector, noting that “real progress” has already been reached in this direction.
Speaking at a press briefing in the White House dedicated to fires in Los Angeles, Biden commented on the situation in Gaza, expressing optimism about the prospects of a truce.
“I hope that we will be able to conclude an agreement on the exchange of prisoners. (On the issue of ceasefire in gas), we achieved real progress,” said Bayden.
The president also reported a conversation with the elected President Livan Joseph Aun, congratulating him on the victory and expressing confidence in his successful work.
