The United States will continue to supply ammunition and armored equipment to Ukraine.
This is US President Joe Biden, during a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian colleague Vladimir Zelensky on the sidelines of the G7 summit in the city of Hiroshima in Japan.
The head of the White House also announced a package of defense assistance for Kyiv in the amount of $ 375 million. “We are for Ukraine and we will not go anywhere,” said Bayden.
Zelensky thanked the American colleague for the next defense aid package of 375 million and financial assistance in the amount of $ 37 billion for Ukraine.
“We will never forget this,” wrote the head of the Ukrainian state on Twitter.
Zelensky also noted Biden’s decision to support the International Aviation Coalition.
“We discussed further cooperation to strengthen the defense capabilities of our country, the implementation of the Ukrainian formula of the world, projects of reconstruction and improvement of Ukraine,” the president wrote.
Zelensky also stated that in negotiations with Bayden, attention was focused on issues such as the Euro -Atlantic integration of Ukraine, the NATO summit in the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius and guarantees of Kiev’s security before joining NATO.
