US President Joe Biden and the King of Jordan Abdalla II discussed the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the areas of politics, economics and security. This is stated in a written statement, which extended the press service of the White House on the results of the telephone conversation of the American and Jordanian leaders.
According to the application, Biden assured Abdalla II in the “strong support for Jordan by the United States.” In addition, the head of the American administration expressed the opinion that Abdalla II leadership is important “for the United States and the region,” reports TASS.
The parties considered “strong bilateral relations between Jordan and the United States, an important role of Jordan in the region, strengthening bilateral cooperation on numerous policies, economics and security,” said the press service of the White House.
Jordan’s authorities announced on April 3 that the intelligence agencies of the kingdom revealed the anti-government plot.
