US President Joe Biden considers the war in Ukraine not only a European, but also a global problem. The head of the White House said this in Tokyo on the fields of the QUAD summit – an alliance, which, in addition to the United States, also includes Australia, India and Japan, Deutsche Welle reports.
According to Biden, he and his administration will fight for a free and open Indo-Pacific region. “The Russian attack on Ukraine only emphasizes the importance of these goals of fundamental principles of international order, territorial integrity and sovereignty. International law, human rights should be protected regardless of where they are violated in the world,” the American leader said.
