Biden extended State of Emergency due to Russia’s policy

US President Joe Biden decided to extend the emergency regime introduced on April 15, 2021 in connection with Russia’s policies, the President of the President of the US Congress leaders say.

“I decided that it was necessary to leave an emergency mode of emergency declared by Decree 14024 in connection with a certain destructive foreign policy activity of the Government of the Russian Federation,” the document.

At the same time, Biden accused Russian authority in the US and in other countries, in hostile cyber capacity, in the use of transnational corruption to influence foreign governments, in the undermining security of countries and regions, important for US security, in violation of the principles of international rights, including territorial sovereignty of other states.

Biden added that the notification of the extension of the emergency mode will be published in the Federal Register of the United States.
