The upcoming dissolution of the Knesset (Parliament) of Israel will not affect the plans of US President Joe Biden to travel to this country. The American leader confirmed this on Tuesday in an interview with reporters in the White House.
Biden answered no “to the question of whether adjustments to the plans of his visit to Israel are made in connection with the upcoming dissolution of the Knesset and the change of prime minister. No more comments on this subject from the head of the US administration were not heard.
On Monday, Prime Minister Israel Naphtili Bennett and Minister of Foreign Affairs Yair Lapid agreed to dissolve the Knesset after a week and on the transfer of duties of the head of the office to the head of the foreign policy as part of the coalition agreement until the next elections.
Biden will make a Middle Eastern tour from July 13 to 16, during which Israel, the western bank of the Jordan River and Saudi Arabia, will visit.
