Bild journalist was wounded in Ukraine

BILD journalist Bjorn Shtritzel, who covers the war in Ukraine, received a shrapnel wound.

“Bild correspondent Bjorn Shtritzel received a fragmentation wound, illuminating Russian aggression in Ukraine. Nothing threatens him (as far as possible), and the wound is not too serious. However, this reminds of all the difficulties through which reporters pass in Ukraine to speak Truth, ” – wrote on Twitter, the editor -in -chief of Bild Johannes Boyier.

Shtritzel himself said on Twitter that he received a cut on his forehead from the glass when he had dinner.

He suggested that the enemy goal was the railway station located around the corner, and reported several other explosions.

“Everything is in order with me, only a cut on my forehead, most likely a fragment of glass. I had dinner, when an explosion occurred (I am not quite sure that it was ammunition, I hadn’t found fragments yet) … My assumption that it was what it was what it was what it was. -The part of the rocket, which fell nearby. The goal was most likely a railway station located around the corner, although I have not yet seen any large place of fall, as could be expected from missiles with a large warhead. This place is outside the Russian artillery reinforcement zone and “hurricanes”, therefore it is also possible that it was an UAV, ”the journalist wrote.

He did not report where exactly in Ukraine he is, but at the end of December he published photos and videos from Bakhmut and Svatovo.

Thancs for All the Messages, I Am Fine, Just a Cut on the Forehead Likely by Glass Splinter.

WAS HAVING DINNER WHEN THE BLAST HAPPENED (Not Quite Sure ABOUT THE ORDNANCE, HAVEN’T FUND ANY DEBRIS YET). https://t.co/zk9rrvmkgh
